What are the team outings like at Avigilon?
They are fun usually off site but the information at the team meetings are not useful. Crunching numbers only not much strategy from management. They do not share any experiences from a management perspective. It’s all up to you...also they do not provide historical data prior to your start date. What are they hiding? Be careful with this company unless Motorola changes things...

Worked from home but HQ seemed very professional

Sales Manager and usually within 3-5 business days
Does Avigilon Drug test during the interview process?
No they do not. But they should. A sales manager has a drug and alcohol problem and should be removed from his position. Maybe all of management is drugged

What's the vibe like in the Business Development dept at Avigilon? How many hours are you working?
Not sure what the role is for BD? Seems like they are just out there with no direction.
How do you feel about going to work at Avigilon everyday?
It was a fun product to represent but upper management is arrogant and non helpful. Partners are treated very rough at best and put zero resources in helping them advance as partners. They need to think about going through distribution in order to achieve the sales capacity they are looking for. Many partners only have 1-3 sales people on the street. Distribution can quadruple the sales they currently have. Maybe consider large box IT resellers too. Internal marketing is average at best. Great product though and works flawlessly. In general the company needs to be partner and end user focused. They also need to stop abusing the partner channel to succeed in the near future. Bottoms line the sales and marketing department needs a serious overhaul and an attitude adjustment. Drug testing should be a must.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved at Avigilon?
Must treat people like humans before and encourage long term relationships vs the last envelope. Keep it up and the envelopes will stop.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better at Avigilon?
No forward thinking or relationship building. It's all about today and now. Especially at quarter end.
What does the leadership team at Avigilon need to get better at?
Human capital. Stop abusing and bullying.
