Very good work place, interesting work and people. As stable as could be expected in a technical industry.

the amount of time off allowed and flexibility.

Approachable, care about the employees

They pay ok, stock options are nice, if they ever pay off.

most of the people I work with are enjoyable to work with, not a stinker in the bunch

works well together but too spread out over time and space, which makes things harder. Need better focus from leadership

What makes you most happy at work?

figuring out a good solution to a particularly tricky problem and seeing it go out into the world and address an actual need.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

positive interactions with most people, there is a ethos of success and people want to make the end product better. Not a lot of people just punching the clock.

no one hassles you if you need to take extra time (within reason) to get something done right. Also I've never had a problem taking time off, especially last minute with family issues.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

they seem to pay attention to the needs of most everyone, not just the top level people. They try to make sure everyone has the information they need about the company as a whole.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Allocation of resources is tough, more emphasis is spent on how we look than how we work so the underlying structure suffers. Fixes and improvements are very slow to happen because of backlogs and not enough time/money/effort put in to fix them. There is not enough vision getting down to the workers
