99 Cents Only Stores Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Is design to my needs

the 401 k program and insurance

To receive a reward (income) in return.

Having a lawyer on call and life insurance.

Displaying it properly and in a timely manner.

I have no idea how it reads

401 K being matched by company.

there isnt any compensation package

The diversity availlability benifits packages to select as employees.

I have no benefits, that has been brought to my attention

Its decent and does the job

Review from Sales Dept

I honestly like the fact that I receive medical benefits with my company because I've had a while without medical so it benefits me alot.

Review from Sales Dept

Bonus plan is usually achievable

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If everyone did their best, compensation would be fair. If you have a team of people who do less then the minimum with no accountability, then someone who works fast and well, would feel that compensation is too low. This would apply to any job or industry.

Im getting paid 16 while doing the work of 3-4 people constantly better pay would be nice and more benifits

U am very up set that I don't get 8 hr shifts. U get 4 hr shifts if I'm lucky I get an 6 hr shift. Minimum wage u feel is not enough. The store itself is very busy on top of keeping clean and the n order

i dont get paid enough and i also dont get any recondition my store manager takes all the credit but when its something bad i get all the credit.

The store manager offer a stocker a key holder positon with the pay started at 17hr i get paid 17.50hr i think its unfair due to my positon .i would also like to keep them from knowing that I am the assistant manager from the store

Review from Sales Dept

Pay raises are very rare and isnt sufficient enough for the amount of work and stress

I feel underappreciated for the work I do

In the past it was bad in comparison to the market but I have i feel im paid ok now. Benefits are worse than before. This can improve. My concern is with my new boss who is not fit for his role. Ive Been with the company for many years & it saddens me that my prior boss was replaced with this guy.

i am a keyholder and my wage is only 10.25 while other made 11.50+

No help too much work

My position was changed without my consent and my hours were cut (from about 20 hrs to 6) without proper warning. I want to be treated as the good employee i am, which is someone who knows the store very well and should be at least a key holder by now.

I want to come to work and feel safe and comfortable

What does it matter? You're cheapskates and won't pay what we're worth. That is why people leave and go elsewhere. You are stuck in 2008.

I am supposed to at least make $15 start off minimum wage I was only getting $11 an hour they want to $12 an hour it barely made it to $15 an hour I don't understand how I'm standing on my feet for such a long time and only getting paid only 100 $200 every week

Major changes in protocol and management

Review from Sales Dept

Nothing they can do! Worst company I have ever worked for!

Review from Operations Dept

Nothing- COMPANY is the WORST

I feel as a wear house worker. We should be paid a bit more for constantly moving huge and heavy pallets every day and every shift. As stockers and cashiers dont need to move as much or exert a lot of energy.

Gitting paid my Vacation and PTO

Review from Sales Dept

Multiple jobs i didnt sign up for end up on my shoulders. I've talked with management about this to no avail; if I don't complete all of the tasks I am asked to (despite not being in my job description), I am bound to disappoint the manager.
