How employees describe working at ADP
I always say I'm a "lifer" I have been here for 18 years and I don't plan to leave.
Review from Client Services Dept
I love this company, by far the best I've ever worked for. My only complaint with ADP is our strict 3x2 hybrid model. For many of our roles, working from home is more efficient, productive and allows for better work/life balance. However, the executive leadership doesn't seem to understand this.
Nothing like it! I love the experience I have had at ADP so far and hope to continue to have more!

Stop laying off the tenured, educated, higher paid employees who worked there anywhere from 2-30 or more years.
if you are going to lay off or force retire all your experienced staff have a plan before hand to fill that vacuum. and out sourcing to India does not work as that plan.

How common is it to switch departments or teams at ADP?
I think it's easy enough to change. Just convince your manager. Here, managers encourage their employees to apply in job offers to build skills
Common based on the situation
There are opportunities for some who work at the large offices. The smaller offices have very little to no opportunity
What kind of people succeed at ADP?
The most talented and most relational.
you need good contacts inside to succeed
Those selected based on favoritism by the manager.
What's the interview process like at ADP?
Top Employee Response
It's a huge corp so it all depends on where you apply, for what role, and who the hiring manager is. There is no unified process, it's all over the place and thus could be a simple phone screen and a single day of interviews, or multiples of both followed by long waits and/or never hearing a response at all.
I went through a recruiter, so I had a phone screen with them, then with ADP, then an in person. Process was pretty quick - took about 3 weeks from start to hire.
Long. Generally its 1-2mths with a full day of interviews near the end of the process. The background check is significant and lengthly.

Top Employee Response
casual, but some people get too relax.
Any dress code
Currently there is none. They did away with business casual and now you can come as you want except when executives are visiting or something. Of course there are limits but for the most part you can dress however you want.

it does not require a lot of effort. Just be like you are. First, prepare your resume well because it is very important to send a presentable resume containing all the necessary details. Secondly apply via the Jobs.adp.com website or request a parranage if you know someone from our staff for when to receive your application and especially read the job description before applying to find out if the requirements we asked for adapt with your profile or not. Finally get ready for face to face interview
Have a resume very well written. Do your homework as far as what the business if about. Dress formal. Have your mock interviews. Well structure examples. Respond the question. Don't go around in circles. Good energy, enthusiasm and positiveness.
Get to know someone who is there in leadership. They have a lot of pull.

What is like to work for ADP. Account Managers???
I feel like your questions are very repetitive. I already answered this auestion
Extremely stessful, emotionally draining on a daily basis. Really effects your quality of life. Managers and executives don’t care about their employees. They only look at the bottom line about making money.
Exhausting, frustrating, under appreciated . Client Services is under appreciated and under paid even though we are on the front line having the daily interactions with our clients. Keeping them happy and their business running smoothly yet we get the short end of the stick in regards to everything at ADP
How's the morale at ADP?
Perfect
Negative do to poor growth in the market.
Not good at all. It’s a constant fear culture on when we may lose our jobs. Tip toe around management and executives. Everyone Constantly complaining about work load, stress levels, management constant micro managing on your case about the silliest inconsequential thing while you are trying to do your job and keep our clients happy. It’s a toxic atmosphere all around

Awesome ADP perk discounts.
The time off policy is fantastic
Working a home 2 days a week. I believe that would be the only unique offering.
What's the office vibe like at ADP?
positive vibes
It is very structured, it is uptight definitely not laid back.
Depressing. People are rude and you can trust no one. There are the usual corporate-loving idiots who run around with their pom-poms cheer-leading as if it's the best place in the world, but for the most part these people are unemployable beyond this place and have been there forever. People with actual options collect their pay while looking for new jobs or simply decide they're happy doing the bare minimum for the paycheck and looking like a genius because their bare minimum is 100% more than what the majority of the workforce does.
What does the leadership team at ADP need to get better at?
Top Employee Response
Some seem more out of touch with reality than others.
Actually caring about employees and not just looking out for themselves.
Does not have an understanding of company's current technology state - has eye on a distant future risking the alienation of exiting base
