  • Fir most positions you're tracked & can't work from home. Not sure about home office, but I believe they're FT & must be in office 5 days/wk, as even field reps have this requirement.

  • There is no office to report to. Your home is base location.

  • I like my home work days. I get more work done. It all depends on your supervisor as to how many days you can work at home.

Asked to all employees at Acosta

  • Don't ask dumb questions.

  • Acosta is a sales and marketing company with a primary focus in retail. Highlight your retail experiences. Are you a fantastic merchandiser? Can you complete resets like a pro? Are you a quick counter who can accurately complete audits? The recruiters want to hear stuff like that. They also like strong leadership skills and people who are self starters, since most of the company's work is done through remote workers. Also, if you've ever been in retail management, even if you were a shift leader at McDonald's 10 years ago, throw it out there. Most of the people I've worked with are former retail supervisors. I hope this helps anyone looking to interview. Good luck!

  • You should have grocery experience to be a merchandiser

  • Experience in the requested job is helpful, but often it's just being in the right place at the right time. Monitor the website very often fir new jobs, although some are internal hires that still must be posted. Recruiters call first, but they're not company employees & only have limited company knowledge. Large turnover, so jobs should come up often enough. Be careful about taking a job driving long distances due to the reimbursement policy. Good luck!

  • Willing to work at a low rate.

  • Stay active watching the postings, as there are always jobs available. Reimbursement for travel is VERY low, so be careful of your job & travel required.

Never. Let me restate that to the facts. I know 15+ yr employees who have NEVER received a raise whether FT or PT at same level but different jobs throughout the company. Every mgr knows they do NOT give raises & will normally tell you this honestly.

  • I have been employed for 18 months . I worked through Covid , I have asked 3 times politely to my manager for a cost of living raise, no response .
