Review from HR Dept
I've been with Adobe almost 9 years, and I hope to still be with this company when it's time to retire. Staying here a long time doesn't mean that the job gets boring. In fact, it's always evolving and bringing new opportunities to learn, and new responsibilities and roles.
Review from Operations Dept
I have been at a couple different tech companies, and Adobe is by far the best. The culture is unique to tech companies and a huge benefit for all that work here.

In your opinion, what are the most common interview questions that Workfront asks?
skills, culture fit
- why WF? - how technical you are? - be real team fit.
How do I do well in an interview at Workfront?
know your resume
Be yourself. Be honest about what you're looking for. You're interviewing Workfront as much as Workfront is interviewing you for fit.
Who did you meet with during your interview? And how long did it take to hear back from Workfront?
the team, hiring manager, recruiter, 2 week
Met with peers and team members in Product, some managers from Sales, and other peers to my potential manager.
What's the company culture like at Adobe?
It is a culture that moves slowly and doesn't like to change but also a culture that has a lot of leadership changes. The leadership changes often take 6 months to level out and then 3-4 months later there is another leadership change. The organization has a hard time figuring out what the right design is (matrix, cross-functional, line of business, etc.). Success seems to depend on getting aligned with the right project or upward moving people.
Positive
How does Adobe make decisions around promotions?
Promotions aren't given just because of the amount of "seat time". There has to be a need for a higher level to be created. Recently openings in one department aren't necessarily given back to that same department because there are frequently new "VP" level people who need manpower for their new department. These new VP level positions are rarely filled from within so Directors tend to get stuck at that level for 20+ years. Career advancement is certainly a challenge at Adobe.
This is no visible to the employees
How do you feel about going to work at Adobe everyday?
Let's just say I don't want to leave but if I didn't need the money I wouldn't want to go into work.
Good, but you’ll have to get there early else you’ll have to hunt for a parking space
How much and how often do raises happen at Adobe?
Annually; usually a few percentage points but probably not for everyone
Once a year
How's the feedback proccess at Adobe?
Ever since we went to "check in" feedback is irregular and unstructured. It is touted as great but is really only great if you are in the "in" crowd or are a lazy manager who is happy to not have to fill out structured performance reviews. 360 degree feedback has been all but abandoned unless the employee pushes for it. Vague negative feedback is used to slam "out" employees without need of providing specific examples.
Very good
How can I improve my chances of being hired at Adobe?
Be a part of an acquisition. That is the best way to come in at a higher level. Otherwise, I'd say come in as a contractor or come in based on working with an executive recruiter.
Care about you work and have a passion for what you do
How much diversity is there among employees at Adobe?
Pretty typical for a high tech company. Low on women and minorities. Probably a bit more balanced on age than other high tech companies although it's hard to get hired directly out of undergrad so few very young and 55+ year old employees are rare.
A ton
What's the office layout like at Adobe?
Mostly cube environment nowadays. Offices are totally full as the company has grown faster than they can add on space. More space is coming but it will take years and by then we may not need it. The amenities are quite good in all locations.
Transition to open space because there is no more room. Parking is packed, and people from some department are packed in like sardines
How's the morale at Adobe?
It is extremely dependent on how "in" your department is with the executives. Many departments are very "clique" ish.
Great
How long do the interviews usually take at Adobe?
That totally depends on the hiring manager and what state the team is in (workload or need to get the job filled). Often times there is a candidate in place who is a contractor. Job postings typically don't last very long or are already nearly filled by the time they are public. Being a huge company, though, we rarely know other jobs are open until they are filled even internally.
Over the span of 2 days, approximately 6-8 hours
How long do the interviews usually take at Workfront?

What's the office vibe like at Workfront?
Very causal, relaxed, but we get things done!
Overall positive and very fun.
What's the vibe like in the Engineering dept at Adobe? How many hours are you working?
People want to contribute. I’m a little nuts, I work >60 hrs a week, but many work the 40hr work week
High expectations on intellect and productivity, but always in a collegial, collaborative, inspiring, environment. It's an awesome place to work. We have many folks with long tenure, and many boomerangs who return after working elsewhere. It's a great place to be an engineer.
