The culture fosters open exchange of ideas and brainstorming

Training and coaching the younger staff is positive. Also, the contests made by corporate or the store are fun and upbeat.

My team is full of diverse people, and all of us genuinely love each other and love to work together. I always feel uplifted at work and get excited to go in. I have also worked at multiple locations, so I know how consistent the company is as a whole!

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Everything the whole mindset of the company they have started to take all the perks. Everything is a write up or issue with management. They no longer care for there people. I was there when they did and was a wonderful place to work.
Genuine leadership. Leadership training that is effective and not robotic and reliant upon modules to do their work.

Long hours but thankless leaders. Leaders not leading by example. Unrealistic expectations. Heavy workloads for a small number of employees to vomplete.
Interaction with the district leaders at the store level needs to be more. District leaders need to be more present in the stores. Corporate team members need to wear masks at work even if visiting other offices or stores. They often do not.
Closer observation of store leaders, specifically their behavior towards associates.

Pay and promote lower management fairly! HR needs to improve anonymity and conflict resolution. LP needs to be able to prosecute shoplifters. If a customer has a proven record of abusing the system, fraud returns, and assaulting staff, they should at least be banned from stores. Did not feel safe.
