Mr. Craig Federighi has been Senior Vice President of Software Engineering at Apple Inc. since August 28, 2012. Mr. Federighi oversees the development of iOS, OS X, Siri and Apple's common operating system engineering teams. He has been managing the Mac OS software engineering group for over two years. He served as Vice President of Mac Software Engineering of Apple Inc. until August 28, 2012. He returned to Apple in 2009 to lead Mac OS X engineering, working on a number of major software releases including Mountain Lion, the most successful OS X release in Apple's history. From 1997 to February 1999, Mr. Federighi worked at Apple Computer, Inc. as Director of Engineering. He worked at NeXT, followed by Apple and then spent a decade at Ariba. He served as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Ariba Inc. since June 1999. From March 1999 to May 1999, he served as Vice President of Internet Services of Ariba Inc. Mr. Federighi holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
