I am 15 years old and had my 1st job experience at Arbys. I was harassed and belittled in front of my coworkers on a daily basis by my managers.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There was nothing positive about my work experience at Arby's
What did you like most about the interview process?
I was basically hired on the spot, but not paid for doing paperwork.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Managers need to be more professional. My managers treated me like their child.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I was told I would be compensated 8.25/hr when I was hired. I was compensated 8/hr during training and was never given my .25 raise after completing training.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Management needs to be trained on professionalism and also about harassment in the workplace and how to keep from having a hostile work environment. Especially with teens under 16.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
I was belittled and harassed in front of my coworkers by managers and my general manager. I have special needs and the general manager made me feel incompetent for the job. This was my 1st job and I hope no one else has to go through what I went through.
