My personal experience has been 90% positive. The 10% that was not was due to sweeping decisions by a leader who then left the organization. Those decisions displaced a lot of great people that may never return to the organization. The leader who took his place is OUTSTANDING.

You can truly be yourself. ALL of yourself. Quirks, strengths, weaknesses, all of it.

My immediate team is very cohesive. We enjoy and trust each other. Best team I've ever worked with.
What makes you most happy at work?
My team / leaders actually listen to my ideas. It is not just a job. I'm part of a true team.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The direct leaders I roll up to actually care. They don't expect you to work 80 hours a week. True leaders versus managers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I could make more elsewhere but the culture makes it worth it. Love my team / leaders! That's more important to me than a pay raise.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
This is the first time in my over 20 year career that I have truly felt supported by my direct manager, his manager, her manager and her manager! Such great people and all partnering.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The mission - we are a non-profit focused on the patient. We pay special attention to serving the under-served. We are a large company so in no way perfect but overall through actions it is clear the mission is for real.

It is part of the culture that we treat ALL people with dignity and respect. That creates a positive, open-minded and inclusive culture. While we are not perfect ... we actually MEAN it. You can feel the difference every single day.
