The leaders are visible and part of the facility, not just a faceless name that the associates never see.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like knowing that I go to work and am likely making a difference in someone's day even if I am not fully aware of it at the time.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is as friendly with each other as they are with the care recipients, which emphasizes they are genuine in their approach and authentic in their indications of caring for colleagues as well as patients.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is an appreciation for individualized approaches and creativity while appropriate humor is welcomed and supported, which is so important given the need for self-care and connection to others when in situations that can be stressful.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The amount of people directly reporting to someone or the number of years experience in a similar role do not always reflect the value the individual or team have within the organization and the work that is done.
