They actually evolve and make changes and seriously listen to agents. thats rare and thats a seriously big deal that is like a rare Diamond.
They talk a good game and will listen some but are stuck or maybe hands tied with earned commissions.
Review from Sales Dept
The autonomy and responsibility given to each employee.
They let you own engineering efforts end to end, but have your back at the same time - there is no blame culture. We roll up our sleeves, move fast and iterate. Without strong leadership we would not have built a multi billion company in 3 short years.
Review from Engineering Dept
They bring big thinking, capability, and compassion to their leadership. They help you aim really high and help you to accomplish more than you thought you could, but when things don't work out they encourage and support.
There is no leadership in this company.
Review from Sales Dept
comisssions are the best and they pay fairly so im good with that
i create my own paycheck and control how much i want to make as a contracted Account Executive, you can work hourly if you like as well but contracting works in my favor so im very well pleased and satisfied, you perform daily, and they pay you daily on the contracted side, win win situation.
Review from Sales Dept
Commission structure is good. However, recently it has changed for the better but have received nothing in writing. Without having direct access to the commission policy feels like you are working without a contract. Anything could change.
Review from Sales Dept
Very competitive equity and pay, much better than top tech Companies (like Amazon).
Review from Engineering Dept
Compensation is fair - they're committed to finding and retaining great employees. I've never felt short changed or under-valued.
It's not about undervalue; if company wants to pay you it will, if it doesn't it will try very hard to lowball you all the way to 40k a year if it can.
I'm quiet, heads down and get things done. So likely the leadership team doesn't know much of the quaity of my work. It doesn't matter a whole lot, I mean come on - this ain't no fair place, this mother earth. I'm more fortunate than so many.
Review from Engineering Dept
Yes, if compensation was delivered at a constant interval, instead of randomly disbursed.
Review from Sales Dept
Even though everybody owns different but related parts of the business, all employees help each other to achieve better outcomes.
Humble, smart, passionate, trustworthy, fun
Review from Engineering Dept
no blame, everyone helps everyone succeed.
Review from Engineering Dept
People take ownership. Everybody feels invested - and I don't mean financially - in the success of one another's work, and support one another accordingly.
Ability to move fast and get stuff done well
Coworkers are job scared and feel intimidated to be truthful and honest about their jobs, company culture and unethical practices.
Review from Sales Dept
We don't do a good job of communicating with other verticals especially C-levels. We always say move fast, but we also do that in the worst way possible, which leads to us wasting more time fixing the fallout.
They need to be more inclusive of employees and provide more feedback & training for agent development.
Review from Sales Dept
we met way too often about things that didn't matter
everyone is free spirited and we work as a team and individually when necessary. its a great balance of team work with zero micro managing.
Review from Sales Dept
We work on commission so everyone is in the same boat and are overall supportive.
Review from Sales Dept
Autonomy and freedom to reach out and grab responsibility.
team work, we are ALL in the same boat, if one fails, we all fail. But we succeed because we recognize this. Many bigger companies ruin team work and collaboration because of stack ranking, which pits employees against each other, creates toxic environment.
Review from Engineering Dept
Huge individual ownership to me is the best.

There aren't any Environment reviews of Assurance yet.
Be the first to contribute a review.
It very easy and the onboarding process is assisted by specialist to help you get through the process easily.
it's inconsistent, HR is good at selling and low balling the prospects at least the ones no one wants to pay. The ones that actually get paid they overpay by at least 50%...
Very open people, easy going conversation, but very tough questions.
Review from Engineering Dept
The coding on the laptop.
Review from Engineering Dept
I like that there is a take-home component of the interview. While it was time consuming, I felt like I got to demonstrate my capabilities more concretely. When I was reviewing the take-home work with my interviewers, I got to glimpse what it would be like working with them on a project.
Tell the interviewee the actual compensation structure and don't try to hide it until they start working.
Review from Sales Dept
be more professional when interviewing
my freedom and the trust my company gives so im not looked over, they train us in a very skilled way so we dont have folks looking over our shoulder. pretty rewarding
Helping the clients. Getting someone a great health policy feels great because having health insurance is so important.
Review from Sales Dept
the pace of innovation and crazy ideas.
Review from Engineering Dept
Solving hard problems, helping someone solve a hard problem.

Speaking with customers who genuinely need help.

Replace entire staff beginning with the President, who is the most inept executive of any company doing business in the Medicare Sales industry.
Review from Sales Dept
The company just simply does not understand how to treat Insurance Agents. They treat it like a Call Center. the difference is that licensed insurance agents are not your typical call center employee. They simply look at stats with no regard to the human aspect of agents.
everything, everything, everything, everything, everything,
co-workers, customers, and the technology we bring to solving problems
