I am very thankful to be at Aura because it gives me a lot of the things that make me happy professionally. I have a great team, engaging work, and the perks/benefits are great. The company moves very fast and realigns often, but I appreciate the explanation given by leadership when this happens.

Feeling like my work has an impact on the teams I work with, and seeing it in the company.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Transparent with tons of opportunities for Q&A, engagement, etc. to learn more about what vision and work they have for their teams.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Flexible with an understanding that life can move as fast as work does, and people are supportive if you need to take time.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They're caring, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. I like that there are no ego issues. Everyone is willing to help if they can, and it makes working much more comfortable.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like how accessible and transparent the leadership team is. Even through the changes and shifts in the business and the priorities, I've found there is a town hall and communication that explains why, so I'm not in the dark or wondering what we're doing.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people really make it for me. I'd say the work I do is interesting and the product we all work on is so relevant today, but MOST DEFINITELY the team I work with. We have a ton of laughs, and our ideas really mesh well!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I do feel I am paid competitively, and the Slack channels/amenities that are sent out are pretty sweet. We get things like care packages in the mail, a free membership to the product itself, and there always seems to be some sort of connection to resources. It feels engaging.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Accessibility and no big egos to be honest. Everyone feels approachable and accessible, and are easy to work with. I haven't run into anyone that I dread going into a meeting with or doing work with, which is something that really goes unappreciated until you're in an environment without that touch.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We're a remote workforce but I find I still have a ton of fun with members of my team. There's no egos and I'm not afraid to admit when I mess up or share ideas in their early stages because I feel like the team has each other and the best interest of whatever we're working on. There's no judgement.
