What do you like best about the leadership team?
There is one leader who is doing his best, Eric Bouchard.
Overall, I think they have a great leadership team.

There is an urgent need for ethics and controls.
Investing in an Employee Relations function to address inequities in a structured manner instead of ad hoc. Serve the legal talent with integrity
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The free membership is a definite plus!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Axiom attorneys have no benefits unless you are on an active engagement that is at least 30 hours weekly

Being paid market rate, being paid premium rate for PTO taken while earning premium rate
Transparency is the glue to trusting relationships. Compensation is not based on objective factors that are quantified. There are no disclosed market data used to set salaries but rather a "stick it up there and see if they will buy it" approach.
This is a contract position. Approximately 6 months ago, offered healthcare. But if you don't work 30hrs/wk, 120/mo total, you're dropped in 30 days. Since the company can't keep or bring in new business, I'm saving up. Once I lose it, your COBRA payment will be $650 or more for lousy insurance.

401k matching would be ideal in the current environment. There is some uncertainty consulting from project to project but I prefer the flexibility that arrangement offers.

Be respectful the minimum afforded to recognize one's human dignity
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People are generally pleasant with one another.

It changes depending on the client served, but the Axiom office is hip and inviting. The people there and on my team are fantastic.

The environment definitely has a very positive feel and energy to it.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I am referring to the Axiom company that is now Knowable. You need to take a look here--discrimination, incompetence, illegal/inappropriate behavior is happening. And "anonymous" whistle-blowing options are lies. I want work, but would rather have the company shut down if you're ok with how it's run

Axiom had approached me initially when I was staffing projects as in-house counsel at a global investment bank. There, I worked with several Axiomites in the EU and was impressed with their credentials and work product. When the opportunity arose to join Axiom, it was a small leap.

My team. I'm surrounded by truly intelligent people who support each other.
Working with clients and doing good work for them.
There are new challenges and faces to engage with often, but with the benefit of the Axiom structure to hold us up.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I went to jr high and high school & can confidently say that Knowable is the worst of both. But now, the popular kids can drink together at work, give their dumb friends promotions, & punish people they don't like by threatening their income, healthcare, and ethical standards.

I have heard from both previous companies I have worked for through Axiom and competitors that Axiom attorneys are too expensive because Axiom Corporate keeps too much money for themselves
