How long after the homework assignment do you meet with C-Level executives?
Multiple phases, long process
There are multiple phases of interviews. There is a pre-screening phone call, individual and group interviews, and a homework assignment prior to speaking with C-level executives leading up to an offer
How's the morale at Baker?
Morale is okay. It was really low for a while but has been improving. There has been constant change which is frustrating when we just want to be productive and get things completed.

It's great. The vast majority of the company brings the heat everyday.
Like Family! Everyone is open, respectful and extremely motivated.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Baker?
I'm not 100% sure what the culture is anymore. I trust fewer people than I used to. I almost feel on edge in the office. I think people are a little disenchanted.

Varies widely across departments. Given the loudness of an open office and the productivity value of WFH, it should be allowed more often.

a nerd about _something_ - likes to geek out on whatever they're interested in, whether it's tech related, brewing beer, pickling asparagus, or climbing; cool with bud; doesn't have to be super social but it's cool when they can go out and party with the dev team; patient and understands that everyone writes the best code they can with the resources, knowledge, and time they have at the time; not defensive

Nothing.

I think there is an opportunity to improve the diversity among Baker. Our WMQ (white male quotient) increased over the past few months and I really value the opinion and experiences of my female and minority peers. More diversity would be great, but I think things are good right now.

What's the vibe like in the Business Development dept at Baker? How many hours are you working?
I love my job so I work a lot, but every project I work on seems incredibly impactful to the business and a great learning opportunity and opportunity to show my value for me.
What's the Business Development team like at Baker?
Best team in the house ;)
How's the leadership on the Business Development team at Baker?
Rock solid. I learn a lot and I'm given autonomy to create my own success and own my mistakes.
What's the vibe like in the Product dept at Baker? How many hours are you working?
It is constantly evolving and improving. Everyone is very open and inclusive to input of team members. Personally, I work about 50hr/week, but this can fluctuate. The expectation for the standard work day is ~9am-6pm.
What's the vibe like in the Design dept at Baker? How many hours are you working?
38-42. Fast paced but deeply creative.
How's the vacation policy at Baker?
15 days a year. They do not roll-over. You gain 1 additional day every 6 months.
