What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The store managers are in charge of setting up the store, but it should be left to the merchandising managers that actually know the product and what customers want.

Review from Sales Dept

The managers at Barnes & Noble lie and steal from the store. No-one calls them on this.

Review from Marketing Dept

The company needs to focus less on random knick knacks and coffee and technology, and more on BOOKS.

Review from Customer Support Dept

The disproportionate stress level the managers and company have indoctrinated in the employees in toxic and unproductive, often leads to hostility, bitterness, and frustration.

Review from Sales Dept

The management needs to be more compassionate and considerate

Review from Sales Dept

It can have incredibly slow days and the clientele is a mixture of good and bad people. There's really nothing that can be done about it, just how it is. They give you as many tasks as they can but sometimes (in the summer especially) it's just a long day.

Review from Sales Dept

Management does not appreciate or respect their employees.

Review from Sales Dept

The amount of pay/benefits I receive does not equal the time and effort I put in
