Take better care of employees. Regular and legitimate raises, options for healthcare after long term employment.
After 4 years of work I have received four raises totaling $0.85. I once received a raise of 5 cents after getting a glowing customer service review and employee review.
They also feel unappreciated and underpaid so it really comes down to management and the overall planning of the company. Upper management not taking the work of lower level employees seriously.
Placing value on the efforts of lower level team members. Employees who feel respect and appreciation exhibit a stronger will and desire to succeed and provide a productive and positive service for their employer.
