Thus far my experience has been overall pleasant, there are undertones of some serious issues I may encounter further down the road of my employment, but right now as a standard bookseller things are very well.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to interact with the customers, helping them find what they're looking for and getting to have conversations about their literary or pop culture interests.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Shift supervisors are very down to Earth and helpful. Any and all questions I have for them are answered in terms that are most helpful to me.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The encouraged relationship between our booksellers and the customers. We have the means to help our customers receive the product they're looking for by several different routes, having options and being able to interact with the customers creates a fairly positive environment.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interviewer was an enthusiastic employee and she was very clear about the difference of what the company wanted to know and what they wanted to know for their store individually. The interview was open to questions, I didn't feel nervous to ask anything.
