Bath & Body Works Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Overall it just has a positive feeling even if things arent always going the way we expect

SLT (Sales Leadership Team) give regular associates positive reinforcement with something they are taught to do called coaching.

People I work with daily

Everyone talks to one another. And everybody can be themselves.

Nothing exceprt excuse everyday for the lack of care

Review from Sales Dept

Were a very inclusive company between diversity and recognizing different cultures with different spotlights for different heritage months. You always feel seen and youre celebrated for being different not torn down.

We are guided by our values from the leadership team. People here are nice.

Diversity, inclusion and equity, fast paced

I used to like my coworkers, but apparantly they dont feel the same about me.

BBW is open to all people, and it shows not only in staffing but also our customers.

They take everyone as who they are

Nothing is positive about my work place

All the other managers are very postive besides one

My co workers are very nice

Love the products and the organization of the stores

The seasonal employees thats it, management is super toxic and abusive

interacting with my coworkers, having a good day at least

The products themselves are the perks-gratis. We can use the "try me" testers of hand soap and lotions. We don't get paid nearly enough to support out families, but at least we can wash our hands. The environment itself is fun and cheery, but in the break rooms? Staff are burnt out.

The customers and the breaks. That's it

Review from Sales Dept

We get along. It's the first retail setting I've had where someone was not a pot stirrer

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Better trained managers that follow labour laws

The manager need to be replaced

Stop the drama, spread positivity

Review from Sales Dept

They need to value employees who are tenure. Thet arw very good to new employees. But agter many years they expect more from tenure employees

Actually train your staff maybe

be accepting and tolerant of people from all religious backgrounds

Review from Sales Dept

acceptance and tolerance of people from different religious backgrounds. and not using futile issues as an example to assert control and humiliate employees

Fire that lazy SLT. Interview all the associates and leadership team to hear the problem and doing something about it. The company is slow to fix problems or address the culture of the store when slt are calling complaining about that associates. All they care about is making the month.

Review from Sales Dept

I enjoy working here, My coworkers and I have talked about how much we would appreciate not having to be in our feet all day. People on register don't benefit from not sitting down, nor do the customers. Front of shop greeters would appreciate a soft mat to stand to lessen eventual pain.

Overall work ethic in the store

Get rid of some negative people and get people that will really help others

Review from Customer Support Dept

Slowing down on the need to micromanage every associate's actions on every task.

Review from Sales Dept

the management team was rude and accusatory. As a new employee I felt discouraged to ask questions and was nervous to do anything wrong because the management teams attitude in handling something inconvenient to them; lack of empathy/understanding.

Review from Sales Dept

The people who work here need to be more compassionate and friendly.

Review from Sales Dept

It's not necessarily the company but many individuals come into retail with certain expectations but certain realities prevent them from becoming realized leaving select employees bitter about hours and/or the treatment they receive from customers and the lack of assistance from Loss prevention
