Bath & Body Works Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

The days go by fast when we're busy and i enjoy seeing the new products and marketing

My coworkers are my favorite part of going to work.

Interacting with the customers when I work

The customers are so nice and their are some customers that love to talk to us and make conversation once they open up.

Interacting with customers, selling the product and finding fullfilment from a hard days work.

Positive customers. I've had multiple people go up to the manager and they told them how happy they were with my service and that I was very helpful.

Going home smelling very nice.

Getting to work closely with my co-workers

Seeing how happy customers are when buying the products this company sells

I love to help others

Having fun with customers and co- workers

Getting to talk to new people everyday.

Review from Sales Dept

Nice customers and meeting sales and capture

Getting more hours in the weekly schedule.

Being able to help customers find the perfect item is great; my teammates are the best; seeing positive posts on our local social media about our store specifically feels really good.

Being around the positivity around me

Getting to leave to go home

Customers see smiling faces and laughs

Review from Sales Dept

Talking to all the customers about the products and the products sell them selfs

Iced coffee mostly, but we hardly ever have enough time to get any. Spritz of "in the stars" fragrance mist throughout the work day

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Someone needs to check on the employees and not just go off what the store manager says.

Better trained managers that know the labour laws

Allowing workers to use the rest room expecially when working them under the weather or when they really need to use it instead of making them hold it calling it "wasting the clock"

More training and solicit more feedback from employees and customers.

Me personally I feel like my main issue was really with my manager and the management team. I sometimes get complaints with some difficult customers once in a while and I feel like my general manager doesn't try to be helpful when I'm in a situation.

Some employees should be laid off so everyone doesn't have long periods of time off work. The company has too many employees/ seasonal employees for everyone to have a living work schedule and monthly living wage. Also, the dress code should be more flexible for health and safety concerns.

Review from Sales Dept

Managers don't appreciate what they have and who they have. Take everything for granted

Review from Sales Dept

The manager at the sydney ns store

I guess the company should have better return policy every store varies and they need to resolve that!

There needs to be a change in management. Too many managers are against most of the employees and we get treated unfairly.

Review from Sales Dept

Customers overhear private conversations that are not work appropriate

Too many long hours and not enough pay

Review from Sales Dept

giving point system to employees

Review from Sales Dept

The permanent manager is on pregnancy leave and was horrible - Temp manager is even worse - DM refuses to deal with ASM/lower management unless it's to "coach" on sales--over the phone.

Review from Sales Dept

The fulltime/longtime employees ESPECIALLY management needs training on how what is rude, how to not be rude, how to be empathetic and understanding , and they could seriously benefit in a course on how to be kind and relatable to fellow coworkers.

Review from Sales Dept

Whenever floor sets are completed, there is no organization and we are there until 2-3 in the morning sometimes.

Review from Sales Dept

Nothing is wrong except the management team just got revamped and they think they're much better than the old team but they are not percieved as such.

Review from Sales Dept

I just feel like if the people who worked there were nice I would be excited to go to work and maybe do a better job.

Review from Sales Dept

Everything. It's wrong that a member of management to make less than an associate and also not be included in company fiscal year payouts. It's disgusting. Also, get rid of the SPAH. It only brings stress and conflict to the workspace.

Review from Sales Dept

Nothing is going bad we are doing a great job
