Ms. Lisa M. Bachmann has been the Chief Merchandising & Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Big Lots, Inc. since August 2015 and August 2012 respectively. Ms. Bachmann served as the Executive Vice President of supply chain management and Chief Information Officer of Big Lots, Inc. from March 2010 to August 2012. She served as Senior Vice President of Merchandise Planning & Allocation of Big Lots, Inc. from August 2005 to March 2010. She is responsible for merchandise planning, allocation and replenishment for more than 1,500 retail stores. She also oversees mission-critical information technology for all areas of Big Lots, including supply chain management, merchandise planning, allocation, distribution, store operations, finance, human resources and business processes. She served as Senior Vice President of Information Technology/Merchandise Planning and Allocation at Big Lots, Inc. since August 29, 2005. She has over two decades of retail and financial experience. She served as Senior Vice President of Planning and Allocation for Ames Department Stores since December 1998 and also served as Vice President, Allocation and Planning. She joined Ames in August 1997. From 1983 to 1997, she held several management positions with the Casual Corner Group, Inc., including Senior Merchandise Planner at Ups N' Downs, Director - Planning & Allocation at the Capezio Division, Vice President - Planning & Allocation, Casual Corner Division and Vice President - Planning & Allocation for the Casual Corner and Petite Sophisticate Divisions. Ms. Bachmann holds an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Western New England College in Springfield, Mass.
