Everything the leadership offers in Danville ky
Our DC was the best. Great communication, and most truly cared.
They worked hard and were overall really nice.
Well I wouldn't say the whole team but 2 out of 3 actually listen to you and take your comments and concerns seriously...
Politeness, respect for the associate
Get rid of store manager. And find one that doesn't harass employees. Stan at Longwood Florida Big Lots needs to go.
Truth, dignity, civility, respect, friendliness, kindness, compassion.
Review from Sales Dept
A new manager that actually understands and works with employees. Not against them. As well as a manager that doesnt attack customers as well. Im shocked webster is still in business. And this is with 4 years management experience
Treating employees fairly and with respect

We worked great together no matter what department or shift. Everyone knew thier job.
The team Os just normal people trying to do a good job. Leadership Makes ot impossible.
The staff care about each other.
Associates cashiers are more helpful than leadership
My team is very comfortable and work together great and help each other out when we can
Better communication, have a weekly or daily meeting to keep all employees updated
It's to late for anything like that.
Review from Sales Dept
Starting from store manager and it goes down to the rest of the personnel
Actually work together and not complain behind each other's backs
Coworkers have little emotional intelligence, common sense; they are immature, selfish, don't look out for each other, lie, gossip and do as little as possible.
Review from Sales Dept
The quality of work vs life mixture.
Lower level teammembers are dun to work with.
The cashiers they are so involved
busy, friendly, cool place to be employed
Great co workers working together as a team to get the job done right the first time and effectivly

Employees need better pay, bonus paid on time an without certain restrictions. It's unfair to expect excellent quality service without a good motivating factor.
Better management. Not someone who doesnt care about what shes doing or any consequesces to anyone else
More deals and bonuses for employees
Leadership change from the top down instead of talking about caring actually do it
One on one and tour of facilities
The company was very formative.
I showed up and the manager was quitting. He told me that I should apply at Amazon, like he did. I stayed at Big Lots for three years instead
Was told upfront about the fast paced work enviroment
The interview process was very simple but at that point I was highly qualified so I was a shoe in. I had already had 10 plus years of retail experience under my belt. But overall it wasn't too hard process I just filled out an application and turned it in.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Listen to the person being interviewed
In this store store manager
Actually communication with the store manager instead of a random email saying your interview is scheduled. Not enough time to prepare for Interviews.
They should look more into who theyre promoting and hiring
If they at least pretended like they cared you were there
The interactions with customers and other employees!
When we are staffed accordingly.
be able to interact with the customers and staff.
A great team working together to get the job done
Getting to learn from other team members and interacting with different work groups daily, even via Teams.
Leadshipmhas no idea what thau are doing and are put of touch with our customers
Putting the prices in items
Fair wages for everyone an proper compensation for employees when they are sick or injured.
They noticed that we were imprioving the stores in our area & then several of us got a no budget upgrade. The stores & associate morale comes first.
The lack of available employees because we don't pay enough.
New managers and employees and more discounts
