Very behind the times from a tech perspective. Lack of flexibility and tons of red tape, in part due to heavy regulation but mostly due to senior leadership not being open to new things, in spite of lip service to building an innovative culture. Management believes making everyone work in an open floor plan is all that is needed to make magic happen.

Not challenged. The real challenge is to be able to navigate the constant change in direction required of us regrading clients/executive mngt.
How's the morale at BNY Mellon?
For me, it just become lower given that certain employees are now being forced to sign (yearly we are told) to pledge that we will maintain a 30 day period prior to leaving. If we do not sign off on this, we will forego our (small) yearly bonus. Certain levels of employees must agree to a 60 or 90 day period. This is quite tough when many other benefits are being cut back and in this case, asking you to choose. Of course we have to agree so that we get our bonus.
