She is responsible for communicating Caesars Entertainment position on critical issues facing both its and the gaming industry. She served as Executive Vice President of Communications and Government Relations at Caesars Entertainment Corporation (formerly, Harrah's Entertainment Inc) since November 2011 until January 2016. She served as Senior Vice President of Communications and Government Relations of Caesars Entertainment Corporation from November 1999 to November 2011. She has an extensive background in Business Administration, Marketing and Business Development. She serves as a Director of Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund. She served as a Director of Vestin Group, Inc. since January 2002. She served as Mayor of Las Vegas, Nevada, from 1991 to 1999. Ms. Jones is the former Chairwoman of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and former Nevada State National Committeewoman for the Democratic National Committee. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Nevada Resorts Association, National Conference for Community and Justice, The National Judicial College and the US Chamber of Commerce. She serves as a member of the Women's Leadership Board at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a Board member of Women's Campaign Fund in Washington, D.C. Ms. Jones got many honors and awards like : 2004 Influential Business Woman of the Year in Southern Nevada, In Business Las Vegas; 2002 Woman of Valor, American Diabetes Association; 2001 Dream Builder of the Year for the 'I Have A Dream' Foundation; 1998 Humanitarian of the Year, Muscular Dystrophy Association; 1995 Woman of the Year, Nevada Dance Theater; 1990 Heroes Award, National Conference of Christians & Jews; 1999 Best Public Speaker, the R-J's Best of Las Vegas; and 1991-2001 Las Vegas' Favorite Female, the R-J's Best of Las Vegas. Ms. Jones is a graduate of Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and attended the University of Southern California's School of Food Marketing Management.
