Mr. Marco A. Roca has been the President of Global Development at Caesars Entertainment Corporation since August 1, 2017 and served as its Chief Development Officer from September 13, 2017 to January 2018. Mr. Roca served as the Chief Development Officer and Executive Vice President of Development at Hard Rock Cafe International, Inc. since September 29, 2016. He served as an Executive Vice President of Global Development for Global Hotels at Hard Rock Cafe International, Inc. from September 15, 2016 to September 29, 2016. He served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer of Hotels & Casinos at Hard Rock Cafe International, Inc. He served as the Vice President of Hotel Development at Hard Rock Cafe International, Inc. As a Cultural Leader of the Hard Rock brand in the global hotel industry, he was responsible for accelerating its growth within the worldwide hotel space. He has gained extensive experience in global real estate, both start-up and operations, for the past 25 years. Prior to joining Hard Rock, he served as the Global Senior Managing Director for Realogy Franchise Group, where he was accountable for all service and franchise sales outside of the U.S. for the largest real estate company in the world. He served as the Senior Vice President of Development at Wyndham Hotel Group, LLC (Formerly Cendant Hotel Group, Inc.). He spent six years before Reology as the Senior Vice President of Development at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in Atlanta, Georgia; and two years as Vice President of Development ' Americas and Caribbean for Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Atlanta. Prior to Starwood, he served as the Vice President of Global Licensing, Contract & International Operations for The Simmons Company from 1999 to 2004 where he led a team of 14 professionals. There, he was accountable for all sales to hotels, healthcare, rental, military and other institutional clients; and handled all aspects of licensing in 108 countries, including: JV's, service, patent and trademark registration, collection of fees, sales and acquisitions of new licensed territories and products. His time before Simmons included several executive leadership and property operations roles in the hotel industry. He is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Mr. Roca holds a Master's of Science in Management & Organizational Development from the United States International University in Mexico City and a B.S. in Industrial Psychology from University of The Americas in Mexico.
