They let some people eat lunch on the clock and other people have to clock out for lunch

Some department heads give people promotions for no reason - all you have to do is threaten to quit and you get a raise.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
A lot of people here speak Spanish in the office and especially the breakroom. It just seems like they don't want other people involved in their conversations unless they speak Spanish.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think the executive team is more focused on the story behind employees instead of their work product. They prioritize people who started in lower positions over people with degrees even though the people w/o the degree aren't as knowledgeable or productive.
