Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

Ideas, work ethic, and talents are sometimes appreciated for specific people, but more often people within the company let ego get in the way of recognizing quality ideas and best options for stores. The work/life balance is non existent and work hours and effort not recognized. Reviews are archaic

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They follow the values of the company.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The food and drinks supplied are a great perk.

What are some of the best things about your team?

The fact that we are all-in when it comes to supporting stores. All the members of my team have the end goal that the stores come first. They are our customers and we truly and deeply care about helping them in any way we can.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel undervalued because I am undervalued. This statement comes not from a place of emotion, but from looking at raw data (actual avg. salaries) of those in similar positions both locally and nationally. They make an average of 40%-60% more. There is push back spending on people vs. tools/tech

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

I think leadership should really look at what their reports are doing. A lot of employees here kiss up and act like they're doing so much when in reality they're failing at what they do. Underqualified leaders are recognized here just because of their story, but have no education or experience.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Making sure people know they are valued and appreciated and not just a resource (human beings are not just another commodity). Scaling growth in a way that is true to building a base of loyal fans who use grassroots to spread their love of the concept vs. scaling only for profit margins. Empathy.

What makes you most happy at work?

When my opinions and ideas are highly valued and sought after and my work is truly appreciate. I have a lot to offer, and when I bring an idea to the table that is accepted and appreciated it makes a world of difference. I am also happy when stores feel well cared for and appreciative of the assist
