Held to unrealistic standards. Work/life balance is non-existent. If I take a day off, then I have to make up the work the following day. I hate working for Cafe Rio and am going to look for a different job.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Nothing is positive. This place is toxic.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
There needs to be more accountability. Employees make so many mistakes and are not held accountable.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have been here for a long time and have done a lot for the company and get paid only slightly more than someone who just started working here
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Care more about people than money, treat employees right. Be more transparent, everything feels real secretive. Be fair with benefits, some employees are enjoying benefits that haven't been offered to the rest of the employees.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Wrong priorities. People used to love CR. Now it is a dumpster. Go into any restaurant and see that the employees are not friendly, seem stressed, the restaurants are dirty, and service is awful. Invest in making customer service better. Nobody cares how fancy the ads are if the service is lousy.
