The management here really understands that people are our strength and takes real steps to avoid burnout, give folks time away, and make sure people have fun activities together.

They are clearly working together to be a unified team with shared goals, so there's not much siloing or competition between departments, and they communicate regularly with us about priorities and progress.

The commuter benefits package, with support if you need a ride from the train station, makes it possible for me to bike to work most days - good for my mood and my health.

There is an active focus on making the work environment sustainable, and welcoming the whole person - encouraging team members to have hobbies and outside commitments and to take those seriously in addition to our jobs.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I like the way we handle unlimited PTO. I'm very suspicious about unlimited PTO in general, because generally it means "as much PTO as doesn't annoy your boss", but in the context of Carbon's culture it actually works for me and feels liberating.
