Carbon is the best job I have ever had, and I respect and value my coworkers tremendously. I am overall very satisfied working for Carbon, would recommend the job to anyone, and intend to stay working here on a permanent basis. I feel I found my "forever" job.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Room to learn, never a stern word for a mistake, only teaching. I'm treated as an adult, which is important to me.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I was really proud of having a female CEO! I am still very proud to be working under some female leadership and am glad to see the diversity that does exist in leadership.
What makes you most happy at work?
I WFH so meetings, both internal and external, are educational and exciting. However, I have zoom fatigue all the time. My most comfortable WFH time is spent learning on Carbon Academy or LinkedIn Learning.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is the greatest! They all have positive attitudes, strong work ethic and a constant willingness to teach, share, and find community at work. Our daily sync is what makes me feel like I "work somewhere" :)
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I'm paid fairly for doing my job, which is important. My compensation plan was changed significantly immediately after I signed my offer letter, reducing my anticipated pay. I still find the pay rate fair. I understood the change to be entirely outside of my control.
