Quick but it was very slow when I started .
It has been one bad experience out for another they are constantly chasing the rules without prior notice I was involved in the rib cook-off found one of the customers backpack was 133,000 in it a laptop cell phone and was given no recognition by the company whatsoever not even a thank you
need more pay for what we do.
Our new gm leaves a lot to be desired but other than that everyone else is amazing

Other than special weekends or events, company (uniform) shirt, slacks & comfortable shoes.

No policy that I know of, no one brings pets, nor is there any legitimate reason to do so.
No pets at work, that would be insane.
What is the best advice you could give someone during their first month at Century Casinos?
Say as little as possible until you know who you can & cannot speak about or around, who you can agree or disagree with about anything & who you can ask questions or speak around, without lies, backstabbing, threats & gossip.
Listen & watch those around you and say as little as possible until you know who are the racists, bigots, misogynists, liars & back stabbers. Don't say anything about, complain or mention the sexist & racist comments, "jokes" & hate speech or you will be threatened or attacked by certain others.

"Promotions," change of "title" happen when someone retires, quits, dies or gets fired.
When someone has finally had enough and quits.

The most important "skill" you need is to remain stone-faced (fake smile,) and silent while hearing racist & sexist comments from certain coworkers about other employees, customers, people in general that are not (or appear/claim to be,) straight, white, "christian," "trump loving," "Republicans."
Ability to remain silent & show no expression or emotion when confronted with racism, sexism, bigotry, misogyny, hate speech, personal attacks & threats about coworkers.
How are the career growth opportunities on the Customer Support team at Century Casinos?
There is no "growth," there is keep your mouth shut & do your job or you won't have one. Laugh at the daily racist, sexist, bigoted, misogynistic comments & jokes and don't dare say anything when you are attacked or threatened unless you have another job lined up already.
Keep your mouth closed about the open & continued racism, bigotry, personal attacks, misogyny & hate, just do your job & remain silent & you have a chance to keep your job, preferred schedule & be left alone.

Very expensive medical, worthless dental, you can get vision coverage, you get meal discounts & "gym" membership.
Insurance for those that can do without a quarter/third of their pay. "Float" day off every quarter, vacation accrual, meal discount, leftover food in break room from day priors "parties."

Making it through the day without harassment, hate speech, racist jokes, sexism, or am on the extremely rare day(s) that happens (only if certain people are off does that occur.)
Maybe getting another thirty-eight cent raise four or five months after "first of the year" evaluations & maybe they won't move dates/get rid of benefits.

No internship program that I am aware of, at least in Colorado.

You have two choices take the cheep insurance that isn't worth much, or have nothing at all.
How are the dental insurance options at Century Casinos?
Don't cost much, but then again don't cover much & what they claim they cover or claim they will cover they later deny & you end up having to pay for it.
What is the company mobility like at Century Casinos?
As long as you don't report or mention the daily racism, sexism, bigotry, hate speech, you shouldn't get threatened. Do your job (& cover for those few who are "special,") keep your mouth shut and you will remain safe. In most departments, there is nowhere to go, might get a title change and more responsibilities but that is about it.

All types of activities, there are gamers, artists (drawing, painting, photography, musicians, hunters, fishing, hiking, biking, skiing/snowboarding. Employes have quite a wide variety of and diverse interests & activities.
What makes you the most proud about working at Century Casinos?
Less as time goes by, more embarrassed to admit where I work & the behavior they not only allow, but defend.
What kind of relocation or moving stipends does Century Casinos offer?
Nothing, I think you can still get slightly discounted bus tickets though if you buy in bulk.
Is it possible to switch teams at Century Casinos? If so, what is the process?
You can "switch" departments or transfer positions, there aren't "teams," other than the small group of "untouchables," who can do & say whatever they wish and the rest of the workers who can get blamed for any and every tiny little thing even if they didn't do anything. To transfer you would have to talk to HR & the managers of the department you wish to go to & your own manager & get them to agree. Then start training for your new position while training someone to replace you at your old position.
What are company outings like at Century Casinos?
The annual picnic is OK, just up the street at the park & the Christmas party is alright, though it seems very few people attend or take advantage of the gatherings. There is always free food & drink, usually some type of games and activities, as well as prizes or gifts.

Would be outstanding if you could make it through one day without having to listen to & put up with racist "jokes," sexist comments, general hate speech against others, a day without the worry of verbal threats or attacks would be wonderful.

Most don't think about or know who Mr. Haitzmann is, wouldn't know him if he walked up to them. Highest up they know is the general manager of the casino they work in.
What part of Century Casinos's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
Ability to get the hours you want since we have a tremendous turn over due to small handful of people who can do & say whatever they want. Difficulty keeping good people because they are verbally attacked threatened by the few (mediocre at best) workers who have been there "a long time," & get to do (say) whatever they want.
What are your coworkers at Century Casinos like?
Most are really great, kind, caring people (who put up with a lot.) A small handful (that you are not allowed to speak of or mention) are the most racist, bigoted, misogynistic, back stabbing, lying, hateful people I have ever worked with anywhere that were allowed to do & say whatever they want with no repercussions what so ever.
How's the work life balance at Century Casinos?
Just work when requested & don't worry about life outside work, keep them completely separate. Work comes first, kids, husband, life is after.
