Quick but it was very slow when I started .
It has been one bad experience out for another they are constantly chasing the rules without prior notice I was involved in the rib cook-off found one of the customers backpack was 133,000 in it a laptop cell phone and was given no recognition by the company whatsoever not even a thank you
need more pay for what we do.
Our new gm leaves a lot to be desired but other than that everyone else is amazing

What are the team outings like at Century Casinos?
"Outings?" If you mean company "picnic/ Christmas party," it is badly scheduled so the management can have a party with a small group of the employees they like, while most employees can't make it or won't bother to travel that far for a short, lame gathering in between their shifts.
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at Century Casinos?
Not a problem a long as you keep work & life separate.
How do you feel about going to work at Century Casinos everyday?
Loved it for almost a decade, looked forward to interaction with coworkers as well as customers, now I hate it & am stressed at home & dreading it more and more on my drive in each workday.

Depends very much on what (or who in some cases) it is on, about, or to & of course who it is from.

After over a decade at Century, in the last couple years it seems those who got out & got a job somewhere else.

Depends highly on the day, time of day & of course the weather. Like the weather changes quickly & frequently.

Some in the main casino building & some across the street, lots of unneeded walking back & forth for some.

Customer Support is pretty good, to bad we don't have any employee support (unless you are on the drop team and lose your banana.)

Have a great general manager Eric will always ask how you are & talk with employees, Aud (head of HR,) is a wonderful lady & will always try to do her best to help, offer suggestions to deal with any situation.
How long do the interviews usually take at Century Casinos?
Don't know, would depend on who is doing the interview, some managers are quick & to the point, others like to chat you up to find out more about your personality & views. I think mine was about 20-30 min.

Was told that day at the end of the interview that as long as nothing came back bad from HR on my background check I had the job.

Since I have worked in many casinos the interview process was quite similar to many other places.

Ability to stay silent & do your job, no matter what is going on, being said & done around you (ignore & stay silent/don't respond to the racism, bigotry, bullying, misogyny, hate speech, etc...

Have never had "lay offs," some have been fired in extreme cases, but most people quit.
Why work for Century Casinos?
Not as bad as some of the other local casinos.

Depends on department or manager, they are all different.

OK, other than the $1000 penalty for coverage of family member, though that is not their fault.
