Ceres is a great place to work. There are some company culture issues that could improve, but I think if those were to improve significantly, the organization would be near perfect! It's a fast-paced organization, so systems and processes are important to have.

The most rewarding part of working at my organization is being able to work with such dedicated, intelligent, and passionate coworkers. I also love working at an organization that I share values with and I believe in its mission. However, the fast pace and good intentions sometimes butt heads.

They're passionate about the work to be done.

Knowing that I'm working toward the mission of the organization.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The time off policy is the best part of the benefits to me.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The staff are extremely supportive of each other, giving kudos and shout-outs often.

They're extremely mission-driven and think strategically about Ceres' role in address the climate crisis.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work collaboratively and know what we're all working on when we're working separately.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing I'm supporting an organization that is working on issues that affects everyone to the best of its ability.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I was able to interview with my future direct supervisor and team. Seeing the physical space was also helpful.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I work with passionate and dedicated individuals who are working so hard at overcoming internal challenges as well as tackling the mission of the organization.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive aspect of the culture at Ceres is the community that is built amongst staff. There is shared mission and passion to take on the challenges of climate change, etc.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The vacation and sick time offered is great and give me peace of mind. We're encouraged to take time off to rest and it's becoming more normal to take "sick time" for mental wellbeing as well as physical illness.
