The focus on connecting with franchisees has increased significantly, and is making a difference. The more recent engagement with corporate employees is helping people feel more secure.
Our leadership team is involved & is truly there if we need their support. As part of ChoiceU, I have seen Pat, Dom, and other members of our leadership join our in-person training to support the message and interact with the franchisees. Whenever we need their help, they're never too busy to assist
I love the sense of collaboration and approachability that they bring, and how it sets the culture throughout the organization. I also really like the focus on strategy and the reorganization of the company around service provision lines.
They are approachable and make themselves available for questions.
They are aligned around the right priorities and reasonable in thri expectations
Matching the message to the actions.
Transparency. New efforts to engage with associates are scripted and do not allow for real interaction or understanding of pressing business needs, priorities, and vision.
Affordable health care, vision, and dental.
The ability to pick the right benefits package for my family is great. I also enjoy the bonus plan. Probably my favorite thing is not explicitly part of the package; it's more about being treated like a responsible adult and being allowed to set objectives and grow in meaningful ways to me.
My base salary. I also like the company contributions to my HSA
401k match and other bonus opportunity available
The entire package is the best. I have never worked for a company who offers so much in way of benefits. This company offers Pet Insurance!
Knowing that others at my same level are making more and are performing at a lower level.
My position was offered to another person, and they told me what they were offered vs. what I am paid.
I believe my compensation is slightly lower than market rate and healthcare benefits at Choice are worse than comparable companies. Additionally, the Stay at Choice program and Employee rates are fare less generous than those offered by Hilton, for example.
The amount of work that is put on our team is the equivalent of double the amount of people. The expectation is not fair when we are all high producers of work. Yet, we can't add people to our team...because "budget"
My wage is considered 75th percentile in the DC metro area. I don't think I'm being compensated according to the DC average for my position.
Our collaborative approach to work, the open communication-- even with the hard conversations.
They are collaborative and accountable.
My team is my second family. We laugh together, as well as go through some stressful times together. We support each other and that's what makes coming to work everyday special.
My team is very accountable, self-motivated, and collaborative. Everyone leads and follows in their own way.
We focus on our objectives, look for continuous improvement opportunities, and engage others as needed to complete our work.
Too many teams without knowledgeable members, and seemingly no inner knowledge-base to reference. A lot of time is spent acting as a troubleshooter for application or OS side issues that could have been solved within their own team if they took the time to research themselves
Some have been in their positions too long which shouldn't be an issue but they are not willing to change or collaborate to allow for more efficient processes. I believe this is due to them being overworked, undervalued and underpaid. There needs to be a more inclusive environment for collaboration.
The Welcome, Wanted, Respected culture and the true demonstration of the core values by leaders and team members alike.
They believe in the individual.
Our environment is ever changing. This always keeps things fresh and gives an opportunity for continuous learning.
The sense of collaboration and togetherness. The AD org has a phrase "One Choice" that I think perfectly exemplifies this. I also know that I am working for a company that is producing a product I can be proud to be associated with, and that means a lot.
We are a team and moving to be more proactive in the risk and problems we need to solve to improve our products and services.

Making an impact, knowing that the work I do drives hotel performance which in turn supports the enterprise goals.
Solving a problem that others are struggling with, and getting to see the results of my work.
The people I get to work with daily.
Having consistent challenges and being able to help franchisees and customers have a better experience
Working from home. The days in office feel unbearably long and the commute to the office is very tiring and stressful. Three days in a row of in-office work is unnecessary and overly stressful. Would be fine with two days in office, Tuesday and Thursday.
I am neither excited nor regretful about having to work. It solely depends on who I get the opportunity to work with that day. The work itself is great I just wish we had the support across teams and the pay to make our duties more achievable and enjoyable to accomplish.
