Focus on meaningful deliverables rather then blindly follow trends
Management walking the talk. People who work lots of hours and manage up do much better than people who work smart, and challenge the status quo.

Cost cutting needs to be reduced. The water filter on my floor has not been changed. The coffee provided is of the lowest grade. It feels more like working for a textile company in 50s rather than working for a multi billion dollar financial conglomerate.
