Any concerns I may have, they are quick to assist!

The best thing about my leadership team is that they listen. They encourage feedback and want to know what they can do to help you succeed.

The leadership team does their best to keep our students top of mind, as well as the employees, while at the same time running the company. Sometimes they move very fast, which is understandable in this field, and the communication doesn't come as fast as it could, but their intentions are good.

Their openness and honesty. They genuinely care about the wellbeing of Coding Dojo employees.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

They need to create content they didn't STEAL from other places. Espeically without giving the original author credit.

The lack of communication with this company is ridiculous. They treat their employees really bad

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I'd have to say, the paid time off. It is unlimited paid time off and to me, that is amazing.

Frequent raises if you work hard. Coding Dojo cares a lot about retention and will do what they can to keep around their best people.

They really care about our mission, our students, and keeping the company competitive. No one is passive aggressive, and the conversations are candid and open.

Everyone is very nice and everyone really cares about our company mission.

Very friendly and open. Everyone's office door is open.

I can honestly say that my coworkers are some of the kindest, most passionate people I've ever had the pleasure of working with.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

People at Coding Dojo really care about the quality of our curriculum and the success of the students.

Coding Dojo has a very linear feel. Everyone in the company, no matter how junior or senior, has a voice.

The attitude of everyone in the building seems like nothing is a failure, just lessons.

Our environment is very warm and welcoming. Everyone is extremely nice and very transparent about their goals.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Compnay culture needs to be rewritten. It uses too many limited free apps to try to muddle through its content. Worst way to learn.

There are multiple layers of conversations, and it gives both sides time to see if the fit is right.

The communication. HR takes great care of you during the interview process and they're very transparent and ethical in how they recruit. Alyssa is a joy to work with and makes the interview process very enjoyable.

The screenings, mostly because I conduct them.

I get to help people learn and that is very rewarding.

When we are working together as a team, solving problems that will set us up for success.

We are genuinely invested in helping people transform their lives. There is real growth potential in the market, the leadership is very open to trying new things and things move very quickly so every employee has the opportunity to have a real impact and learn a lot in the process.

The work that I do is incredibly rewarding and our culture is a breath of fresh air, especially for someone coming from a stuffy corporate background.

Work life balance. A lot is expected of us, which is great, but it can get overwhelming sometimes. Also, change is very frequent and leadership has a tendency to "press go" before fully thinking things through.
