No one person i work with could tell you the mans name. What i can say, he likes to spend money on random items (ear piece!)and not invest in employees. I have to ask what happened to Pier 1?

The quality isnt there and we employees dont get paid enough

Just had this area manager from Texas, no concept of actual work, unreliable, inconsistent and someone needs to put him in check! This person has no business handling multiple stores
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
A living wage! $10.60/per hr to help customers, move furniture to car, build furniture, fixtures for floor. Set fixtures. Tear down 2 weeks movve 12 feet or so and rebuild put merch on floor. Oh yea! Try i mean try to come home unscathed from unloading the merch on pallets. safety is not a concern
