What did you like most about the interview process?I got to speak to a variety of people in different roles across the business.
What are some of the best things about your team?The individual contributors who pre-date the Ericsson acquisition, or who were hired by managers who believe in the Cradlepoint culture, are great to work with. I was lucky to be on a team with those folks.
What is the best part about your compensation package?The base salary is pretty competitive.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?Strategy, culture, communication, accountability. Basically everything.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?The exec team has not given a strategy update since the Ericsson acquisition a year and a half ago. The culture is in decline and no one seems to care. The HQ is in Boise, but the whole exec team has been replaced with Silicon Valley people. It is very hard to figure out what the plan is.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?It was very rushed. All interviews were 30-45 minutes one-on-one. I was asked about the same thing several times. There were lots of hypotheticals and very little actual vetting of my qualifications.
