Management does not care about employee growth and development. Store manager favorites another manager and she's able to get away with insulting, trying to intimidate, and takes out her anger and frustration on the staff. Morale is non existent. It's sad, and very disappointing to say the least.
What are some of the best things about your team?
hard-working, mostly punctual, good spirits and positive attitude.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Nothing. Managers will smile in your face and talk bad about you to others while on the selling floor.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Management does not value their staff. The previous store manager was always present and would be very team oriented and would show appreciation by supplying food, snack, fun incentives. Current store manager doesn't even show up to work, she's always calling out.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication, transparency, inclusion. Listening to the needs and wants of employees. Once a manager gets a long with an employee they will go above and beyond to promote without considering qualifications. They choose based on if they like them or not. That is COMPLELTY wrong.
