CVS Health Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

great health insurance great company packages

The robust medical and dental insurance

Being on time and goes by the job responsibility

Health coverage is the best

I am paid a fair wage and have the benfits I expect that is not an issue. My only real issue is the lack of true leadership.

Promoting, encouraging employees , recognizing best performer

everything is good and where it should be

My 401K plan and company contributions are the best part of my benefit package.

The opportunity to have benifts.

Bonus structure is always a fun thing!

as the market goes more competitive, CVS keeps up with the standards

Benefits for my kids and bonus

HSA benefit that I have.

Best part are discounts benefits

Review from Customer Support Dept

Best part we get 20-30% off as a store discount both on and off shift. Only downside if it's b1g1 free or 50% if we buy one we don't get to use our discount on one. Yet percentage coupons with customers they can use those. Should go both ways)

Handsome wages to support family

Education benefits for continuing education

CVS Health tries to bring in equity (fair pay for similar experience/position). Bonus is almost always paid more than what is associated with the position. RSUs (or equity) is not that generous

Review from Engineering Dept

Theres opportunities for advances and raises

PTO. Insurance has very high deductibles, at least at the SR Level.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Benefits could be more competitive- I ha more vacation time when I was fresh out of college

Thry make you feel wothlesd

Th pay insurance premium is so expensive to say we are insurance company

keep cutting hours the best thing they can do

For this to be an insurance company, our benefits are horrible, and no one cares

An increase in pay, sincere communication, input on things.

We are constantly being graded on things that are unnecessary. You ask alot from us and then want us to problem solve for every single person even if we are being cussed out in the process. Our mental health is at stake, we don't get paid enough to deal with disrespect.

More hours and better pay for all employees

More hours, and better corporate staff

The pay does not match the amount of responsibility one has working in the pharmacy

You're consistently expected to do the work of 3 people every shift and if you're not stuck in the drive thru or slow Virtual Verification you're expected to make enormous amounts of PCQ (basically cold calls) calls to ask people to pick up the prescriptions they don't need.

Review from Customer Support Dept

They pay below scale for many mid-level positions, despite leaning heavily on people in those positions

Review from Admin Dept

More PTO (this is the least PTO I've have in the past 10 years of my career!), more competitive pay/bonus structure, less expensive insurance that starts day one. Perhaps consider varying compensation for store employees vs non-store.

Review from Design Dept

The compensation is not across the board. There should be more done to integrate the 2 companies and create a clear career path.

Review from IT Dept

I came back to work after retiring 6 months prior to help wit his COVID shot administration and was offered a rate of pay that is 22% less. I still did it because I wasn’t doing it for the money, but I do feel unappreciated. I have felt that

Review from Operations Dept

My compensation would be perfect if I were able to take my time off or felt appreciated by my direct manager.

Review from Sales Dept

Would love to be hired permanently.

Review from Product Dept

Medical benefits should improve because the company owns a health insurance company.

Review from IT Dept

I do feel undervaklued when I compare myself with others in the organization that have similar responsibility and accountability but have higher roles

Review from Engineering Dept

As a DC hiring partner we work a lot- and deal with the needs of other DCs and fight to get people to apply. We deserve more then starting 17.
