CVS Health Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Encouraging very knowledgeable helpful people

Posted 7 days ago

On a local level, excellent. At a corporate level, terrible.

The collaborative effort and the engagement with the broader team. I appreciate that they like to keep the team informed of coming changes, planning, forecasting, etc. They also do a great job of motivating and developing colleagues.

I like the management process

great help great assistance great community

Listen to the workers and make changes when needed

They are very responsable and helpful i like the way they help and care about everybody

Review from Customer Support Dept

Working together to make a difference

Everything is calculated but time consumption for better attitude in future

Punctuality, team work goal focused

My immediate manager is great—supports the team, lobbies for positive change, tries to help with career development. But leadership above her level blocks everythin

Review from Design Dept

No Egos. They are very intelligent. They are supportive and transparent. In my experience you'll find small pockets of strong leaders who act with integrity. At CVS they are the genuinely the best i've seen.

My leadership team is amazing at highlighting wins from the team, building and promoting talent internally and creating a posiyive culture.

Communication, respectful, good listener , caring

I feel like leadership will always take all points in consideration and make the best decisions

They are great. I always feel comfortable talking with them

Working together is very fun. Understanting every person opinion is very important.

Review from Sales Dept

seems to care about me as a person

My immediate manager is awesome.

Review from Operations Dept

They're helpful if you need something or are having trouble with something (even tho I've been there a year), all us employees get along (for the most part).

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Communication , empathy, knowledge of job

Providing adequate organized resources that we dont have to utilize 17 different systems to find an answer

Acknowledgement of our workload as professionals.

listening, they will take up for each other without hearing both sides

Care more about employees and customers

competent individuals not money hunger individuals

Being honest and not lead one on

Review from Executive Dept

Balance how you work with your team.

Respect low level employees as members of a team.

Promotions based on good metrics alone is not what makes a leader. Those people don't necessarily exhibit "Heart at Work" behaviours. Being non-communicative, or threatening and disingenuous to a direct report is never heard about because it's in private. Survey direct reports before promoting.

Review from Operations Dept

Communicating, paying, helping or doing their jobs.

Give more help to their pharmacy staff

Helping the stores. More and more work is added and hours are never given to complete new tasks. The ACO model is so completely out of touch with the reality of what happens in a store. You want a person standing near it, and that leaves 1 other person to run the entire store and you decreased hours

Review from Operations Dept

Listening to the employees in the stores. The pizza isn't working.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Talking to the stores and listening to what each store needs. They have a bad habit of not fixing issues in stores and treating stores as warehouses by over-sending products that cant be put out for another month or two.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Owning up to their mistakes

Review from Sales Dept

proving appreciation to employees and raises and more hours, communicating and providing a better training program

Review from Admin Dept

Retail pharmacy expected to do more with less. Extremely stressful on pharmacists and in turn the technicians. In regards to direct management - there needs to be less gossip amongst colleagues. This creates a hostile work environment.

Review from Customer Support Dept

They need understanding and concern. They need to actually care about their employees and their employees health. Not being able to call out sick when your actually sick because you will get written up is unexecptable. And also not being able to give a doctors note on top of it. Horrible company.

Review from Sales Dept

Employee engagement!! They are a bunch of micro-managers with zero work-life balance.
