My team is incredibly smart, capable, collaborative and crucially - fun. We don't take ourselves too seriously, and this creates a great sense of trust and camaraderie. We're all able to give each other feedback; there are no egos to be seen. We're all on the same mission to make DataStax a success

On a daily basis, we recognize the great work of our teams and individuals. Beyond that, the day-to-day work is often taken on with a lighthearted, fun spirit.

We are allowed to fail. We are allowed to learn as we push ourselves to move forward. We aren't punished for trying something new, rather celebrated for looking at problems from our unique perspective.

What did you like most about the interview process?
Everyone was upfront and honest. There were no games played. It moved quickly and eliminated any guesswork or wondering.

This was the only company I've interviewed with that I felt I had a full picture of the people I would be working with. As a designer, you are collaborating and bringing together many teams within the product org, and they were aware of that. I spoke with members of many teams.

What do you like best about your company?
They want to make the best product for our users. We are supported to grow and given the resources we need to do so. Not much red tape when it comes to implementing decisions.

Continue to grow and become "well-oiled" — we move fast, and there is always room for improvement with communication between different team
