Q&A With David's Bridal Employees

Asked to all employees at David's Bridal

  • Be confident- even if you're not very talkative, try not to come across as shy. It helped me (in other interviews as well) to have a folder/notebook with common interview questions/my answers as a little cheat sheet. But don't just read your answers, just know the gist and expound from their. It also helps to be creative, not just stereotypical. Try to think of what makes you unique and apply that knowledge to your answers. Look at the products on the website too, so that you are familiar with the kinds of product sold. But mostly, just be confident.

Asked to all employees at David's Bridal

  • They were straight forward, didn't really ask random meaningless questions that I've been asked at other places. They do ask some questions to get a feel for your personality, but this makes sense because some personalities do not mesh well being constantly surrounded by people and often dealing with bad-attitude customers. It was easier than some others, but they did ask good "thinking" questions.

Asked to the Customer Support Department at David's Bridal

  • Very helpful. They made sure I understood what I was doing and had thorough knowledge of the tasks my position included before leaving me up front on my own.

Asked to all employees at David's Bridal

  • Probably depends if you work for a store or corporate. From a store you really can't work from home. Both CSR and Consultant tasks you are impossible to do from home as they involve direct contact with customers. There may be positions on the corporate side that involve some work from home, but I notice a lot of corporate positions seem to require traveling as well. Great place to work but not really a work from home place.
