Spend too much on unnecessary travel and other expenses, can not make budget on a monthly basis and foster a culture of blame

Degreed is a supportive employer and trying hard to address scalability issues and to create an inclusive workplace. Senior management can be quite removed from day to day, they dont always empathize with current challenges like the cost of living crisis.

I met several people and was able to learn about the culture as well as the role during the process.

That it wasn't just focused on tech. They really value a culture fit and made that apparent. They also had me interview with a variety of individuals to get multiple opinions.

I am seen as a whole person and encouraged to take time off to spend with family, and to continue learning.
