
Dell has a good culture - people are driven and work hard. Sometimes, this aspects creates a toxic environment where no one has work-life balance. Work goes with you wherever you go, leading to burn out. Managers and well as individuals need to create healthier boundaries about when it's OK not to work. Top down, there is opportunity to rethink what is priority and what can wait until the next morning so that people aren't working until 2 am finishing a request for the next morning.
Fire all mid-level management and eliminate their jobs. You could hire 10 or more sales reps for the price and get 100% more productivity by doing so.
Clear direction from leadership post integration rather than changing directions every few months. Invest in a few big things rather than many small things
Hired older mature employees along with new grads. This will make for a good mix as they can learn from Each other.
None, management is progressive, and they represent values I personally agree with.
Make it an actual meritocracy. Favoritism and sycophantry currently prevail.
Enable people to think and act, and get close to customers
Make internal services (IT and HR) competent and more responsive.
