What do you like best about the leadership team?

Their willingness to be constant learners.

The leadership team make themselves incredibly accessible and are always willing to listen to employee feedback.

The team is trying to redefine eharmony's offering while sticking to its core value. I think UX is not a well thought out team right now. UX comes before the product is defined and involves heavy research and testing to determine if a feature is going to satisfy business and user needs.

C-Level Leadership is easily accessible and is blended in with the all the staff, from a seating perspective. It's great having a leadership team that is not just an email or a figure that sits in an office. Easy access and an open door policy have lead to some great change within the product $ org.

Executive team has more or less been fully replaced over the past couple of years. New team is doing a good job of cleaning up business and product.

The new leadership team (past 18months) has shifted from operating from their hearts and their gut feelings, to operating the business properly with real initiatives. The new direction, while taking time to affect the appropriate change, is heading well into the right direction.

New team (since last July) is invigorated, lean and enlightened.

Our leadership team is proactive and acts quickly on reported concerns. Open door policy; management is interested in feedback from employees. Management is fair and empathetic.

Company leadership has really come together this past year - we are headed in the right direction with exciting projects coming up!

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

They are incredibly inept at hiring. They hire unnecessarily for business development and the UK office has nearly 3 times the marketing staff the US does.

Immature execs - they will talk about you behind your back rather than give you constructive feedback to your face

Not hiring incompetent people on their own

Hiring based on a collective feedback system (which we used to have). Now it's tyrannical and based on whoever a certain leader likes.

Deferring to experts instead of yourselves. News flash - you are not experts

Moral boasting, positive re-enforcement, utilizing others ideas and capabilities more
