Estee Lauder Companies Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

My salary is good vs market standards

nice we pack the package so nice

Review from Design Dept

Work-life balance and well-being benefits. Plus, a robust healthcare benefits and maternity leave

Review from Communications Dept

we are offered employee discounts

I just came back from 6 months of maternity leave, I am beyond grateful for that and all the programming for women's advancement!

Review from Communications Dept

Health insurance for family and funds

It seems fair when compared to others.

Great insurance benefits and wondeful vacation benefits.

It allows me to travel

Review from Sales Dept

the bonus and the equity

Review from Sales Dept

Sick pay, bonus and any required support

Review from Admin Dept

The £5 lunch voucher, the shares and the annual bonus. Also the fact you can buy extra holiday

Review from Sales Dept

There isn't just one part to choose

Review from Sales Dept

The Health insurance and pension

There are a lot of options available for support and the medical cover, bonus/stocks/shares are good as well as support for running a car

Review from Operations Dept

Health care, ability to purchase extra annual leave, flexible health packages, company pension

Review from Marketing Dept

great perks, discounts on our lovely products, health insurance

The annual bonus is generous

Their is a very generous company paid pension % and a variety of other benefit options that I can tailor to my own needs.

Review from HR Dept

All elements of the compensation package have value to me. Of course receiving a bonus is very much appreciated but knowing that I have health care and a good pension scheme is reassuring too

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Everyday, one is constantly making their superiors look great by doing all the work and instead of gratitute we are constantly made to feel that it mght be your last day!

Review from Executive Dept

More base, bonus, and equity

Severally underpaid compared to the market and to external hires. Not challenged with the work I am doing and not much opportunity for objective professional development.

It's only marketing products company

They hire two part-time key holders rather than one full-time person so that you don't get any benefits.

Review from Sales Dept

Previously shares were a valuable part of the benefit system and they were taken away. I now do multiple peoples jobs but have not had remuneration or a title to go alongside this

They are removing benefit by benefit. We do not get any equaity and my salary are below average. Also, its not possible to discuss a raise even though we are supposed to do so on a yearly basis.

Review from Marketing Dept

I'm not being paid what I should be for my level of experience, the amount I offer the company and the additional stretch projects that I am working on outside of my remit

Review from Communications Dept

The pay is very low in comparison to the market. There is also a huge discrepancy within the company, with large pay gaps between people doing the same job on the same grade with the same amount of experience etc. New hires are often paid far more than existing employees.

Review from Admin Dept

Not comparable to others within my role/location

Review from Admin Dept

Our benefits are great and i think there is a good variety of what is offered. I do think that sometimes the pay is not reflective of work done or the time and unsociable hours of some roles

Owing to workload and contribution, I am expecting salary adjustment.

Work life balance and salary package competitive to the market and compensates for the amount of workload

Review from Sales Dept

Pension is only at 4% pay out for under 40s which for a blue chip company is really quite poor.

We are paid significantly under market. Culture is great but it will be hard to retain top talent with the low compensation

If we were paid more fairly for the amount of work we are putting in

Compensation is under market rate

Review from Marketing Dept

There are other companies paying much more for the same position. It is discouraging and has made me look outside of the company for a role, even though working at Estee was my dream. The compensation needs to be comparable to other cosmetic companies for me to feel better about my position.

Salary is very low with the education & experience I bring and with the work I deliver. Also promotions are randomly given and hard-working people are often overseen.

Review from Marketing Dept

the amount of work I do and responsibilities does not measure up to my compensation or job title.
