What makes me happy ast work is that I get too meet different people everyday with a different situation everyday! I really do need too get paid therapist salary, with the stories I heart and the things I see at Family Dollar on Washington Road is AMAZING! I love it!

Get rid of the negativity along with find people who want to work
Family Dollar sets extremely high expectations but doesn't provide enough time to get through all tasks. The blame is placed on disengaged, under paid csrs and ASMs for not putting in adequate performances. It is hard to motivate team members to go the extra mile under poor conditions and low pay.
If they receive good treatment, they speak good of Family Dollar. If they receive bad treatment or hear of gossip, slander, or misconduct to token colleages, they speak bad of the company.
If Terry is out the store it'll be a better place, people have to many complaints against him and he's using personal feelings against his co-workers and taking people's hours away
Stop with the drama with people
Any higher level of management sees lower employment different and treats us as such.
Need better management and communication

I just want to communicate about my paycheck and I'll be satisfied I don't like when store owners ignore problems in the store
New management, new policies, better insurance, BETTER pay,...
The temp gm is causing animosity and tension at work and making racial slurs
The distract manager and her attuide and also the way she treats the people that work for her

Everything especially the ac unit
It can be improved by putting in new positions systems and hiring NOT BAG CHECKERS but actual ARMED SECURITY. Security is always coming over the intercom saying the time and they watching all activity but when the same people keep stealing out the store nothing is done.
More hours would be great
What's going wrong is the cleanliness of the store, employees are rude , have no respect for customers when an issue is let known. Not providing allowed time for breaks like they should. Parking lot filthy dust all over store products dirty sticky floors and horrible bathroom .

Theft - Better surveillance equipment Poor equipment (registers, portal, HVAC)- replace instead of putting a bandaid on it.
