I love our mission. I love that we have the chance to change technology at Fiserv and our industry. I wish we could bring in new modern talent that could assist instead of allowing the best talent we have leave, and only have average talent left to do some of the hardest work ever. I like my boss.

Seeing accomplishments finally delivered and knowing what it took to make it happen.

They are nice people; I wish they had deeper modern technology (and delivery methods) depth.

I have a few close peers and team members that I get to work with.

Seeing us actually get through all the hurdles to get something delivered that makes our coworkers and clients lives easier.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People really do try to move us forward everyday. It is rare to run across someone not trying, or worse sabotaging.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Invest more in hiring outside engineering/technical talent in the areas innovation is needed most, even if it means reducing in areas of established technology practices. We cannot improve our stability and time-to-market without them.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
RSUs. But that is an executive. Our ENTIRE compensation package is extremely poor for our hands on engineers and architects. Any that I desperately try to keep can easily get 50-100% more than we're currently paying; as they prove with the amount of regrettable attrition.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Clear vision, even if I can't agree with cutting costs even when/where we should be investing so that we can become more effective in the future. If we want greater positive operating leverage out of Tech, need to invest before reaping benefits. Otherwise more/longer outages and disengaged people.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are nice people who do want to work hard. While this question is about 'Best' things, I have to state that the worst thing is the vast majority of the team does NOT want to change how they work. There seems to be a believe that if we keep doing things the same as before, we'll grow again.
