Mr. Paul D. Ballew has been Vice President and Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Ford Motor Company since June 1, 2017. Mr. Ballew served as Global Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Ford Motor Company since December 2014 until June 1, 2017. Mr. Ballew leads Ford's global data and analytics teams, including development of new capabilities supporting connectivity, autonomy and smart mobility. Through his years of executive and technological leadership, Mr. Ballew provides the board with operations and technology experience, as well as important perspectives on innovation, management development and global challenges an opportunities. Mr. Ballew is sophisticated in financial and accounting matters. He has more than 25 years experience in marketing and sales analytics with an emphasis on turning customer insights into business action. Mr. Ballew served as the Chief Data and Analytic Officer of The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation since January 2011 and served as its Chief Economist and Senior Vice President. Mr. Ballew joined D&B in January 2011 and was responsible for global data and information management, customer analytics, predictive analytics and the overall data and analytic strategy. He served as Nationwide's Senior Vice President Customer Insights and Analytics. Mr. Ballew was responsible for the customer research, forecasting, data management, analytics and insights function at Nationwide. He also served as the Chief Economist of Nationwide and oversaw the macroeconomic forecasting and planning activities. He joined Nationwide in November 2007 and established its Customer Insights and Analytics capabilities. Prior to joining Nationwide, Mr. Ballew was employed by General Motors and served as General Motors Corporation's Executive Director for Global Market and Industry Analysis. He was responsible for GM's research, consumer data and information, forecasting and sales and customer, economic and industry analytic functions. He also directed GM's Sales and Marketing strategic planning activities in North America and served as a senior director for global product planning activities. Prior to joining GM, Mr. Ballew was a Partner and Senior Director for J.D. Power and Associates. Before joining J.D. Power, he was a Research Officer and Senior Economist with the Federal Reserve of Chicago from 1988 to 1995, specializing on the automotive industry. He also served as an advisory role with the Fed. He serves on number of Boards of non-profit organizations. He has been a Director of Hyatt Hotels Corporation since March 23, 2017. He served as a Director at NeuStar, Inc. since July 30, 2015 until August 8, 2017. Mr. Ballew holds a bachelor's degree in economics and political science and a master's degree in economics and finance, both from the University of Detroit.
